Tasmanian BJJ State Championships 2012
The BJJ TAZ / Maromba team had a great day at the TFBJJ state Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Championship 2012. All the team worked well together supporting their team mates and ensuring that not only did the event run well but the team fought every match together from the junior Tazmaniacs through to the senior purple belts.
One of the event highlights for the team was Mark Edmunds winning his division the largest in the history of BJJ competitions in Tasmania then backing it up and winning the white open as well. Mark was awarded his Blue Belt by Brad and he was also awarded fastest finish securing an armbar in just 22 seconds. Well done Mark. Colin Finger was also awarded the encouragement Trophy. Colin displayed awesome Jiu Jitsu skills and talent on his first BJJ competition and we are looking forward to seeing great things from him in the future.
